An FPV drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle with a camera that sends video to a headset, mobile device or other display devices. Drone racing is gathering popularity as a hobby among many people. So it is becoming a serious sport in some parts of the world. A FRV racing drone may be controlled remotely or programmed to fly through a pre-planned flight plan autonomously. The Eachine Wizard X220 is compatible with the 2206 and 2208 motors. There are two clockwise and two counter-clockwise brushless motors. To prevent the nuts from the propellers from becoming lose pair the counter-clockwise motors with counter-clockwise rotating propellers and vice-versa with the clockwise motors.
It can be used with a 4S or 3S battery. A 4S battery delivers more power to the motors, allowing higher speed and more manoeuvres. They are located below the motors and help to tell the front from the back of the drone when there is no video feed. The Wizard X220 has an inclined motor base design to boost speed by reducing drag when the drone is flying. It also has a removable motor base protection. The motor base protection increases the durability of the motors and protects them from mud and dust. It is not advisable to remove them as they don't add that much weight anyway.
The Wizard X220 design is easy to maintain with an adjustable camera angle for better shooting. The package contains all the devices that may need to complete the ready to fly drone these include the charger, transmitter, receiver and antenna etc. The fly drone is basic and cheap but creates a platform in which a more powerful drone can be built once it is convenient.
