The old driver teaches you to buy RC cars -part 3

White-collar recommended models (4000-8000 yuan)
We define the obsessed advanced RC players and the one-time, upper-middle-income group as the main white-collar consumers. In this price range, it is basically possible to align the popular models of European and American high-end brands with Taiwan's racing-class models. Over 100 speeds and outstanding off-road capabilities are easy to find. This range of vehicles is strongly impacted by international brands such as Europe and the United States, and the low price is not competitive.
Recommended model 1 LOSI Desert Buggy XL
Recommended model 2 HPI VORZA FLUX HP
Recommended model 3 Team C T8E V3 racing off-road vehicle

The luxury-class recommended models(more than 8,000 yuan)
We define the group of people who are wealthy and self-willed. There are not many RTR models that can be selected in this section, and most of the flagship models of the brands are released in this range. But there is no limit to the conversion.
Recommended model 1 HPI BAJA 5SC
Recommended model 2 LOSI 5IVE MINI SUV

Everyone's favorite RC cars are not necessarily the same. The models we recommend based on the price range are only a small part of the RC car model. But I believe that as long as you love the rc drift car world and want to get in touch with it, you will certainly find a model that suits you.

Issues like where to buy(4S regular model shop or online store), the after-sales maintenance and repair, many details of RC cars purchasing are just as the same as the real driving car. I hope that through the RC car purchase guidance articles, we can correctly guide the majority of users to walk in the RC car purchase right roads, choose a cost-effective RC model which is suitable for their own.

The old driver teaches you to buy RC cars -part 2

With regard to the price of various RC cars, we can summarize some general laws:
1. The greater the proportion of RC models in the same brand, the higher the general price.
2. With the same proportion of the size of the model, the law on the price: Europe and the United States well-known manufacturers brand> other Asian countries brand.
3. The RTR version occupies 90% of the market below 4,000 RMB. In the 4,000+ RMB market, the RTR and KIT versions coexist, but the RTR version is the mainstream of popular entertainment.
4. RC model cars are divided into two major categories of entertainment and racing. Most of us are in contact with entertainment models. It can be said that due to the storage of various modified parts, the price of a modified RC car is unlimited.

How to select?
Entry-level recommended models (500-2000 yuan)
We define this group as the entry-level consumers and the interested youngsters. In this section, we prefer to recommend some Chinese brands of entry-level RTR models to consumers. At present, the main Chinese manufacturers of RC cars include Nanda, Vicat, Huanqi, HSP, Xing Yaohua, Taiwan Min Bao, and Sakura. Although the price, quality and workmanship of the car can not be compared with the more expensive European and American, Japanese brands, but enough to play out the power and control of different from ordinary toy cars.

Civilian-recommended models (2000-4000 yuan)
We have defined a civilian-level consumer as having a certain income, as well as people who have fallen in love with RC cars at first sight and people who have not satisfied entry-level models. The range of models available in this section will be more diverse and richer than the entry level. European and American brands can choose to go through the RTR version of the entry-level work, Asian brands can choose more cost-effective models, or directly on a large proportion of gasoline vehicles. According to their own preferences and experience, I believe that you can find a suitable rc drift car model.

The model thing itself is not just a need but a hobby. Civilians who like to play can also take the high end. For example, to the GUNDAM model, domestic brands compared to Japan's Bandai has a very different price, in fact, RC car model is also like this. RC car model as a derivative of the car also follows the rules of the real car, its threshold is not so high that people can not get involved, but to play a bit more professional, you also need to spend a lot of time, effort and money. Today, we start from the perspective of the most tangled parts of consumers - prices, and interpret the purchase of RC model cars in various price ranges, hot classic models, and shopping experiences. We hope this article will effectively guide you to find your perfect RC car model.

Before purchasing, we need to first popularize a knowledge point. The rc drift car model is generally divided into RTR version and KIT version:
1. The RTR version (READY TO RUN) represents a suit (ready-to-play, open box, and run your car), no hands-on capability is needed, and the open package is a complete finished, including a remote controller. We must pay special attention to the RTR version. There are no fuel, batteries, and battery chargers in the package. They must be purchased separately.

2. The KIT version represents what is bought as a box containing various parts that need to be assembled on their own. Most KIT versions only contain frames and a few electronic devices. Most KIT versions do not include highly customized components such as remote controls, power equipment, etc., and these are needed to be purchased by the player. Assembling the KIT version requires relatively rich experience and strong hands-on ability, which is a favorite among hardcore gamers.

Uber shows prototypes of flying cars that look like huge drones - part 2

At present, Uber has begun cooperation with NASA to develop new UberAIR services, and will face competition pressure from many competitors in the future. For example, Kitty Hawk, an auto flying taxi company invested by Alphabet founder Larry Page, launched the latest commercial model Cora in March this year. At present, the company has started to cooperate with the New Zealand government and gradually promote the commercialization of its air taxi. Uber's other competitor, Airbus, also successfully piloted an autonomous flying car product for the first time in February this year. To advance the project, Uber also signed a Space Act Agreement with NASA last November to develop an "automated traffic management" system for its "flying cars." This is the second agreement between Uber and NASA. As part of the agreement, Uber will share data related to its plan to produce a flying taxi in 2020 to assist NASA in developing urban air traffic (UAM) projects.

This flying car prototype looks like a large drone, not a helicopter, with four rotors on the wing. According to Uber, this design is safer than a helicopter with a single propeller. The flying car flies at an altitude of 300 to 600 meters above the ground and is quieter than a helicopter. The noise it generates is only half the size of a truck passing outside a window.

Uber also plans to launch UberAIR services in Dallas-Fort Worth and Los Angeles in 2023 and begin testing in these cities in 2020. According to previous plans, Uber will launch flying cars in Dubai and Dallas-Fort Worth in 2020 and will be fully operational by 2023. In addition, Uber plans to launch the service in Los Angeles before the opening of the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028.

Uber shows prototypes of flying cars that look like huge drones - part 1

On May 8th, Uber demonstrated the concept prototype of the "flying car" at its second Elevate annual summit, which will be used as Uber's air taxi in the future.

Uber announced the prototype of its "flying car" at its second annual summit of the "Elevate Summit." The prototype of the "flying car" looks more like a large drone than a helicopter. It uses a four-rotor design and Uber executives call this design safer than a helicopter. Their flying height will be between 1000 feet (about 305 meters) and 2000 feet (about 610 meters). Uber said that the initial "air taxi" service price will be comparable to the current Uber Black high-end taxi service. However, as the popularity of services increases, the price of passengers will be reduced to that of Uber X services.

In 2016, Uber announced its "Uber Elevate" flying car project. The aircraft can take off and land vertically, flying at low altitudes in the city. Unlike helicopters, Uber's "flying cars" use multi-rotor and fixed-wing designs that are more efficient and quieter. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi stated in February this year that Ubers air taxi service is expected to be commercialized within 5 to 10 years. Uber expects that these "air taxis" will eventually take off and land 200 times per hour. Initially, these flying cars will be equipped with pilots, but they will eventually achieve automatic driving.

Uber hopes to launch a flying taxi service for passengers in the next two to five years. Vertical take-off and landing can be achieved from ports, on the roof or on the ground. According to Uber executives, specialized landing and landing stations can handle 200 take-offs and landings per day while using only 24 seconds each time. Initially, the Uber flight taxi still needs guidance to get up and down smoothly. Uber's goal in the future is to allow it to achieve full automatic flight.
